How do I get a domain name?
You can go to a
domain seller like
www.godaddy.com, or do a Google search to
find a domain seller.
How does the
domain name come over here?
When you
purchase at godaddy, you can specify to use
ns1.hostshasta.com and
ns2.hostshasta.com for the name servers.
Or we can ask them to do the switch after you
have acquired the domain.
How long does it
take to switch?
They advise 24
to 48 hours to complete the switch (called
the propagation).
